Revvity Signals, the global leader in scientific analytics SaaS solutions, is looking for an experienced, data-driven Email Marketing Manager to join the Marketing Operations and Analytics team.

This role will be responsible for the planning, execution and measurement of promotional email marketing and customer nurture campaigns that increase customer engagement, optimize journeys and grow new leads and customers, ultimately driving incremental sales. 

Position: Email Marketing Manager

Overview:

The Email Marketing Manager is a fully remote hands-on role that will create and execute our email marketing strategy and ensure a high-quality experience of company emails for our B2B SaaS customer community. This includes building and sending emails, audience segmentation and targeting, testing and reporting, providing user training and support, supporting email policies and best practices, and quality assurance of SalesForce Marketing Cloud and our marketing automation tools. This is a great opportunity to lead global email marketing strategy and execution as you collaborate with other Marketers and Marketing Operations to execute email campaigns across key customer segments, personas, and geographies. Our ideal candidate has expertise with email marketing channel ownership, including audience segmentation, A/B testing, optimization for key email KPIs, and integrating email with a multi-touch strategy.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As the Email Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for leading and executing our email marketing strategies and campaigns from end-to-end, responsible for all aspects of the email marketing funnel, including design, content, email templates, implementation, measurement, and optimization.
  • You are detail-oriented and have a knack for crafting subject lines and editing email copy in clear, concise, and conversational language, even with a technical B2B audience, engaging email subscribers from the top of the sales funnel through the customer lifecycle.
  • You are an independent thinker with intellectual curiosity to innovate and drive improvements for your channel. You enjoy owning the customer experience and can bring fresh email test ideas to the table. You enjoy collaborating with Sales and leading marketing team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless launches from campaign conceptualization to launch.
  • You will lead email strategy for product engagement triggers, transactional messaging, behavior-triggered nurturing emails for key segments, and content-based email campaigns. 
  • Campaign Creation and Deployment: Define and execute email tactics to support the campaign go-to-market strategy working with Sales and the Marketing team, including multi-touch email programs, audiences, and assets to launch. 
  • Email Campaign Calendar and Roadmap: As the owner of your channel, you collaborate with Marketing Managers to develop and manage an email campaign calendar and roadmap. You make data-driven decisions to optimize the calendar for customer experience and engagement. 
  • Nurture Programs: Standardize and program content for nurture/drip programs for key audiences and segments working with Marketing Operations.
  • Work with key stakeholders to define segments, audiences and priorities.  
  • Advise Marketing Operations and Web Operations on conversion rate optimization and A/B testing to improve KPIs: reduce unsubscribe rates, hard bounce and soft bounce rates; and increase open and click-through rates. 
  • Analyze and monitor data in SalesForce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud. Build and monitor reports for tracking key metrics in Marketing Cloud Intelligence and Personalization.
  • Provide recommendations to enhance programs to key stakeholders. Balance internal and external insights, quantitative and qualitative data, and implement iterative changes to improve results. 
  • Drive the implementation of email policies and best practices. Assist with quality assurance (QA), policy and legal adherence, and brand standards pertaining to executing email campaigns in the marketing automation tool. 
  • Ensure compliance around email processes by keeping up with email compliance regulations and ensure compliance around permission-based marketing, privacy, spam and deliverability. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND a minimum of eight years of experience in email marketing including audience segmentation, A/B testing, optimization for key email KPIs, and email integration

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SalesForce Marketing Cloud Engagement, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification
  • Competent analytics experience analyzing, optimizing, and presenting campaign email performance
  • Experience collaborating with other marketing teams to manage marketing data for segmenting audiences and aligning segments to marketing strategy
  • Background or experience in B2B SaaS and/or scientific software field preferred, particularly in pharma, health, industrial sciences, Food, Flavor, fragrance, agrochemical, and oil and gas
  • Experience with other campaign channels, like web or social
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required, delivering complex messages and concepts to the audience in a simple manner.
  • Highly developed time management and multi-tasking skills, ability to think critically, act quickly, execute processes efficiently, and adapt easily in managing competing campaign priorities and scope.
