International Trade Compliance Center of Excellence
Our Center of Excellence serves as the backbone of Revvity's international trade operations, handling critical functions including product classification using HTS codes, reviewing Specially Designated Nationals (SPL) business partners and orders, maintaining comprehensive reports on blocked transactions, and managing our brokers database for Revvity products. Additionally, we manage Revvity's ITC training system, serve as SharePoint administrators, and provide comprehensive reporting support for the global ITC team.

Three years ago, Revvity established our International Trade Compliance (ITC) Center of Excellence in Krakow, Poland, creating the operational heart of our global trade compliance efforts. What began as a two-person team has evolved into a specialized five-member unit operating across two shifts to seamlessly support our US East Coast operations and all SAP sites worldwide.
Key achievements over three years
Over the past three years, we have achieved significant milestones in trade compliance and operational efficiency. We standardized global processes by developing unified SPL and classification approaches across all regions, ensuring consistency and clarity worldwide. Compliance oversight was strengthened through the implementation of newly designed audit processes for international transactions, enhancing transparency and risk management. Accuracy was improved via a comprehensive global cleanup of HTS product classifications, reducing errors and discrepancies. Our operational reach expanded across multiple time zones with the adoption of a two-shift system, allowing for broader coverage and responsiveness. Additionally, efficiency was increased by simplifying complex trade compliance processes, streamlining workflows, and optimizing resource use.
