This part time (20 hours per week, 09.00-13.00 Mon-Fri or similar) FTC position is a member of the Product Development Team and is specifically responsible for the upkeep of the blood donor databases and blood requirements in support of Revvity’s Product Development and Quality Control activities and the company’s wider blood activities.

Overall responsibilities:

  • Working closely with Product Development and other departments, responsible for critical support activities in relation to a broad range of projects within Oxford Immunotec.

  • Responsible for coordination and maintenance of all database activities and all blood requirements in support of T-SPOT.TB, T-Cell Select and other T-SPOT related products. 

  • To act as the company phlebotomist and to arrange and attend external and internal bleeds.

  • Close liaison with various different groups and companies within UK and US, e.g., Technical Support, Clinical, Product Development and blood donation groups.

  • Take responsibility for sourcing of blood from additional areas, such as external vendors, as required.

  • Actively involved in development lab compliance.

Specific deliverables for the role are:

  • Taking responsibility for the databases and clinical information used by Oxford Immunotec Product Development Team Ensuring that work is completed to agreed timelines.

  • Ensuring that any blood requirements are fulfilled efficiently and to agreed timelines.

  • To take blood from both internal and external donors and record and store donations in accordance with SOPs.

  • Be compliant with the Company Quality Management System and with the required Regulatory standards.

  • Ensure professional and timely communication between our blood donation groups and Oxford Immunotec and requesting departments.

  • Data collection and entry for all of the Product Development studies (pre-clinical) and where required other teams with Revvity.

  • Ensure all CRFs and questionnaires and Informed Consent forms are correctly completed, and the data has been entered into the correct database securely and in compliance with GDPR.

  • Ensure awareness of the voluntary blood donation system, both internally and externally, to maximise recruitment.

  • Maintain stock levels and ordering as required.
