We are looking to recruit a Site Assistant to provide the Site Management Team with support and be the administrative hub for the site such that the efficiency of and success of the team is enhanced. In addition to providing on-site support the Site Assistant will lead with facilitating internal and external site meetings to create a great visitor experience for people coming to the building.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • General office administration

  • Event planning and organization – corporate and staff events, regular meetings

  • Support in planning for site visits by external parties

  • Setting up meeting rooms in advance of internal and external meetings, training and townhalls

  • Creating and placing purchase orders with suppliers

  • Support in the preparation of site policies and presentations

  • Diary management and covering site Reception as required

  • Organisation of travel and attending off-site events

  • Meeting minutes – action points and executive summary

  • Drafting of site communications

  • Promoting key operational administrative processes by putting up and regularly refreshing notices, posters and sending out communications.

  • Managing SharePoint site and filing systems

  • Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems

  • Managing inventory of office supplies to ensure smooth office operations

  • Making sure the site is always clean and presentable

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience as a trusted assistant supporting a broad range of stakeholders

  • Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Experience with proactive diary management

  • Evidence of using own initiative to meet the needs of the internal team and to drive process improvements and efficiency

  • High energy, enthusiastic and results driven with a resourceful ‘can do’ attitude

  • Ability to perform in a complex matrix organizational structure.

  • Self-driven and flexible; able to meet deadlines and deal with multiple and changing priorities

  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to effectively prioritize tasks and communicate progress

  • The role will be based in the Revvity Cambridge site, with an expectation of in-person/on-site working.
