Job Responsibilities:

  • Participating in weekly meetings with other planners to review statuses and issues
  • Executing and review material forecasts and supply using SAP module MD04, reports and SAP’s APO (advanced planning) alerts
  • Scheduling and order fulfillment of manufacturing operations, including multiple work centers across a factory
  • Interfacing with production to ensure customer requirements are met; ensuring that internal processes are developed and followed to ensure quality, profitability and on time delivery
  • Inputting planning data into Material Requirements and Advanced Planning modules in SAP to support independent demands and distribution center requirements
  • Working with new product introduction teams for distribution center input and placement
  • Reviewing & confirming Stock Transfer Requests (STR) to Stock Transfer Order (STO) conversion daily
  • Reviewing delivery schedules with buyers and other planners to ensure on time delivery requirements
  • Working with Global Order Management (GOM) regarding inventory staging to sales orders
  • Maintaining planning master data - working with purchasing on master data consistencies using standard audit reports
  • Monitoring key performance indicators and identifying improvement actions

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 0-2+ years of experience using a large ERP system to plan materials for factory assembly and manufactured materials for distribution center stocking.  

OR

  • Associate degree
  • 2-4+ years of experience using a large ERP system to plan materials for factory assembly and manufactured materials for distribution center stocking.

OR

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4-6+ years of experience using a large ERP system to plan materials for factory assembly and manufactured materials for distribution center stocking.  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of how to develop product Bill of Materials (BOMs) and kitting BOMs
  • College degree in Business, Finance, Industrial Management or Supply Chain Management discipline
  • APICS certification preferred
  • Strong SAP planning skillset experience: working knowledge of SAP tables and data extraction methodology, Central Component, Advanced Planning, and alert monitors preferred 
  • Ability to communicate and present information effectively verbally and in writing and collaborate with peers, colleagues, and leaders, including cross-functional, global partners
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Effective knowledge of STRs and STOs for supply/demand execution
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work on multiple tasks and projects and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines
  • Demonstrated data analytics abilities
