Position Overview
Lead DevOps transformation across the organization, driving adoption of continuous delivery practices, infrastructure automation, and security integration while serving as the primary technical expert for platform engineering initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
DevOps Leadership & Strategy
- Guide enterprise-wide DevOps transformation and establish maturity frameworks
- Mentor teams on DevOps practices and drive cultural change initiatives
- Develop training programs and best practices for deployment and CI/CD tools
Infrastructure & Automation
- Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable software delivery
- Architect cloud-native platforms optimizing for performance, reliability, and cost
Security & Compliance
- Integrate automated security testing and compliance gates into CI/CD pipelines
- Implement DevSecOps practices including secrets management and vulnerability scanning
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements
Operations & Monitoring
- Maintain and monitor production environments with comprehensive observability solutions
- Establish SLI/SLO frameworks and incident response procedures
- Optimize cloud costs through automation and resource management
- Lead disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 8+ yearsDevOps/SRE experience with5+ yearsin cloud platforms (AWS) and GitHub
- Expert proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools
- Strong programming skills (Python, Go, Bash) and automation experience
- Proven leadership in technical transformations and team mentoring
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Cloud certifications and experience with observability platforms
