Key Responsibilities
· Use of Agentic AI to develop test harnesses, data, processes, etc. are a mandatory part of this position and will be required to achieve the majority of the elements below and are critical success factor for this position
· Test Script Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks like Selenium, Playwright or TestNG.
· Framework Maintenance: Build and enhance test automation frameworks (data-driven, keyword-driven, or hybrid) to improve efficiency and maintainability.
· Test Execution & Analysis: Execute automated functional, regression, performance, and API tests, and analyze results to identify bugs.
· Defect Tracking: Document bugs, track issues, and work with developers to resolve defects, utilizing JIRA.
· CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
· Collaboration: Work with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure high testability of features.
· Manual Testing: Perform manual testing, exploratory testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) as needed.
· Continuous Improvement: Research new tools and methodologies to improve the overall quality assurance process.
Required Qualifications & Skills
· Experience: 5-7 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in automation testing.
· Programming Languages: Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language such as C#, Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
· Automation Tools: Strong experience with Playwright, Selenium WebDriver.
· Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks.
· Version Control: Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub.
· SQL Knowledge: Good understanding of SQL queries for database validation.
