Horizon Discovery, a division of Revvity, is a leading provider of translational genomics research tools. We are recruiting for a Customer Service Associate to join our team.
Based in our office in Lafayette, CO this role will be responsible for interfacing with and supporting internal and external customers with all aspects of order processing and query resolution, contributing directly to the Company’s ability to meet sales goals and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for working with the commercial team to support processing orders in a timely and accurate manner.
Update and maintain sales data and information within the appropriate software systems
Deliver exceptional customer experiences in a timely manner through effective communication and responsiveness for customers, both internal and external.
Contribute to the development of the ordering process to ensure Horizon continues to provide an excellent customer experience.
Develop basic product knowledge and a strong understanding of the shipping requirements by building a strong relationship with shipping and logistics.
Follow the procedures set down in the SOP’s for accurate and timely entry of all orders.
Work as part of a team and adopt a flexible approach to increase and maintain the quality of service.
Undertakes relevant project work and additional responsibilities as appropriate and agreed with the Head of Customer Services.
Basic Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
2+ years of experience in a customer service role
2+ years working with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working in the life science industry.
Experience with a customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and cross-country team environment.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Compensation Range:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $45,000-53,000. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
