The Application Support Scientist Mass Spectrometry consists of top professionals aiming to provide high-level technical/scientific support to our customers throughout the EMEAI region. This position is mainly focused in supporting newborn screening customers. We are now looking to strengthen the team with another skilled professional. The position is preferably located in Spain or Italy.

Role description:

  • Conduct implementations of Revvity products and applications related to mass spectrometry, primarily for the newborn screening markets
  • Provide post-sales application support in response to customer enquiries, including education, training and on-site visits
  • Develop new applications for Revvity LC-MS/MS offerings to neonatal market
  • Provide pre-sales support ex. demonstrations and LC-MS/MS method development
  • Prepare and present technical/scientific seminars to existing and potential customers
  • Provide information and consultancy about our solutions, to internal and external customers

Role requirements:

  • Ph.D. or Master’s in Chemistry or Biochemistry    
  • Experience in a similar role
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with triple quadruple systems.
  • A strong understanding of small molecule LC-MSMS workflows and associated informatics, experience with clinical applications of mass spec.
  • Experience in customer relationships
  • Customer focused problem solver mindset, strong project and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills in English, other European language skills are considered as an advantage
  • Willingness to travel globally up to 50 – 60 %
