Revvity Gene Delivery is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our Quality Control team in the viral vector production department. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, purity, and integrity of our produced viral vectors through a variety of molecular and immunological techniques.
This position will help maintain our industry-leading standards in viral vector delivery while supporting the critical needs of the business during a team member's parental leave.
Responsibilities:
Quality Control: Perform viral titer testing (qPCR, ddPCR, ELISA) and assess vector integrity using PCR, Gel Electrophoresis.
Purity Testing: Conduct SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, and endotoxin testing for purity and contaminants.
In-Vitro Testing: Execute cell culture, transduction, RNA, and gDNA analysis.
Laboratory Maintenance: Maintain lab organization and equipment.
Documentation: Follow GxP and ISO9001 standards for documentation and work procedures.
Method Implementation: Assist in adopting new testing methods.
Requirements:
Experience with molecular techniques (qPCR, ddPCR, ELISA, SDS-PAGE, PCR).
In-vitro cell culture and nucleic acid analysis skills.
Familiarity with GxP, ISO9001 standards.
Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
Previous experience in a laboratory technician role, ideally in a related field such as molecular biology, cell biology, or quality control.
Familiarity with viral vector production and testing techniques is highly desirable.
Availability to work on a full-timeorpart basis until November 2026 to cover parental leave.
