Product Specialist

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Applications Support
  Establish and execute pre-sales and post-sales support strategies for current and prospective clients. Provide technical support focused on reproductive health, applied genomics, and immunodiagnostics in the Philippines market. Collaborate with the Service team to ensure system solutions meet customer requirements and develop processes that enable fast yet thorough responses to customer requests.
• Technical Expertise & Training
  Deliver product training to internal teams and external clients. Stay current with scientific developments and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, IVDR).
• Customer Relationship Management
  Build and maintain strong relationships with laboratories, hospitals, and clinics. Act as a trusted advisor for product integration and troubleshooting.
• Product Demonstration & Validation
  Conduct hands-on demos and support product validation at customer sites to ensure successful implementation.
• Market Development
  Identify new market opportunities, gather customer feedback, and contribute to strategies that expand Revvity’s diagnostics footprint.
• Sales Enablement
  Collaborate with distributor partners and direct sales teams to ensure optimal system solutions are provided to both new and existing customers. Support sales initiatives with technical expertise, cross-selling guidance, and strategic alignment.Contribute to government tender processes by providing technical input and documentation, ensuring product specifications align with bidding requirements. Work closely with internal teams and channel partners to support bid submissions, compliance, and post-award coordination.
• Documentation & Compliance
  Prepare technical and commercial reports while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Event Participation
  Represent Revvity at trade shows, conferences, and workshops to showcase products and engage with industry professionals.

KEY CAPABILITIES REQUIRED

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent discipline is required. This educational foundation equips the candidate with robust clinical and laboratory knowledge aligned with Revvity’s diagnostics portfolio—including reproductive health, applied genomics, and immunodiagnostics.

Work Experience & Requirement:

• Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience or applications support in the diagnostics industry, preferably within clinical diagnostics, reproductive health, genomics, or immunodiagnostics.
• Solid technical knowledge of diagnostics workflows, particularly in the Philippines, with added value for exposure across Southeast Asia
• Background in in vitro diagnostics (IVD) and familiarity with ISO and IVDR standards is advantageous
• Demonstrated success as a highly committed, goal-driven professional with a strong performance track record
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to support both technical and commercial interactions
• Willingness to travel extensively, often on short notice, both within the country and internationally.
• Exhibits a positive work attitude, strong team spirit, and collaborative mindset
• Possesses an assertive, energetic personality with a drive for results and continuous improvement
• Takes initiative and shows a proactive bias for action in fast-moving environments

Key capabilities/competencies expected for the job (Example: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SAP experience etc.)

Technical & Analytical Skills

• Applications Support: Proven track record in the laboratory operations or applications support for end customers, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting, training, and product validation
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for analysis, reporting, and customer presentations
• Understanding of in vitro diagnostics (IVD) workflows, with working knowledge of relevant quality standards (ISO, IVDR)

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

• Ability to present and communicate confidently to high-level customers, including medical professionals, researchers, and decision-makers
• Skilled at delivering technical presentations, product demos, and training across various stakeholder groups
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for clear and persuasive messaging

Commercial & Strategic Insight

• Customer-oriented approach with strong business acumen to support pre-sales and post-sales activities
• Ability to identify new market opportunities and support strategic initiatives in the Philippines and Southeast Asia
