Job Description:

We are looking for an Business Development Manager to sell TB products portfolio in a manner that positively reflects Revvity company image. The BDM will achieve sales growth, market share gain and targets in assigned accounts in south Asia region. You will maintain and expand business with new customers with high customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be responsible for driving TB infection testing, Automation solutions portfolio and its business growth. You will be responsible in providing expert technical support and training for our cutting-edge TSPOT TB solutions, ensuring our customers maximize the potential of our products. You will work both independently and, in a team, setting with Account Managers and Field Service Engineers. You will be expected to create and develop field related opportunities, as well as successful strategies and tactics to sell our solutions. You will be required to provide instrument demonstrations, sample processing training, technical guidance and troubleshooting. The role will require to act as a technical consultant to our customer for providing all technical product related information, training and support to internal as well as external customers. You will be one of an elite team of specialists driving Revvity success in this competitive marketplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage India and South Asia Distribution Channels to achieve company goals/ AOPs
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve government project targets.
  • Identify and pursue new government project opportunities. The incumbent will be working closely with Central TB division ( State TB OFFICES ) , Govt hospitals across territory to promote IGRA TB Solutions , create KOL’s
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government and Private clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all proposals and contracts comply with government regulations and requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to meet project deliverables and deadlines.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities in the government sand Private Sector.
  • Conduct presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations with Private Clients and government officials.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Provide comprehensive technical product information, training, and support to both internal and external customers.
  • Plan and deliver high-level product demonstrations and pre-sales technical support in coordination with Sales Team Leaders and Account Managers.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, following up on leads and prospecting for new opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • The individual for this position will be covering Greater India region. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

Required Competence

  • BE, MSc/ Ph.D., in a Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry highly preferred.
  • 8+ years related experience required
  • Strong background in Tuberculosis screening technologies is highly desirable, with preference given to candidates who have hands-on experience with related products and applications.
  • Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of diagnostic application
  • Solid presentation skills to variety of audiences
  • Strategic selling abilities are highly preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Possesses ability to meet sales targets and support business initiatives/objectives
