We are looking for an Account Manager to sell products from our Platforms LifeScience portfolio in a manner that positively reflects the company image. The Account Manager will achieve sales growth, market share gain and erosion targets in assigned accounts across France. You will maintain and expand business with new customers with high customer satisfaction.

These products are focused platforms selling within the LifeScience portfolio, including Invivo Imaging Solutions and Multimode Detection Readers for multiple applications.

Customers are spread countrywide, so a willingness to travel is essential. 

Revvity provides fullongoing, sales and technical training, so we are open to applications from proven sales professionals as well as scientists with experience in these techniques

Key Responsibilities

PROFITABLE GROWTH

  • Manage Sales Plans pushing on business expansion activities with New Customers whilst expanding share of wallet with the existing installed base

  • Actively participate in generating ideas for value positioning

  • Nurture, maintain and develop Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) at territory level

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

  • Constantly probing customers to better profile their needs and trends to make profitable revenue gains

  • Be a consultant to our customers, providing high-level explanations of solutions based on continuous learning and solid technical knowledge

  • Introduce Revvity product portfolio and support services appropriately and effectively, being able to develop and deliver product demonstrations on less complex instruments (where applicable)

  • Develop and prove (SPI) Revvity solutions

  • Position the benefits of products and service solutions to enhance margins and minimize price erosion

  • Focus on revenue/margin goals throughout the entire negotiation cycle, including discussions with purchasing depts

  • Generate a valuable customer experience by usingField Application Specialist (FAS) knowledge and skills, to whom you will provide all relevant information for effectiveDemo/sample measurement activities

  • Facilitate problem-solving solutions for customers by assuring cross-functional coordination, andbuilding solid long-term relationships against competitive threats

SALES EXCELLENCE

  • Design a structured Business Plan focused on value generation for existing and new customers

  • Execute based on prioritization of business expansion

  • Responsible for ensuring the territory prospect pipeline is populated with a balance of short, mid and long-term prospects sufficient for the continuous attainment of territory targets

FORECASTING AND SalesForce.com (SFDC)

  • Accountable for updating opportunities promptly to produce an accurate business forecast, which will provide the utmost confidence to the Business units and manufacturing that corporate business expectations will be met

  • Update all customer information and pipeline evolution in SFDC according to Revvity's processes and timelines

  • Won/lost/abandoned opportunities should be accurately reported to enable continuous business analysis and improvement

Education & Skills

  • Bachelor’s in science or higher

  • Previous experience in commercial roles

  • Proficient in English

  • Willingness to travel is essential (50%+)

  • Ability to perform in a complex matrix organizational structure and being able to influence across functional boundaries

  • Independent, but also able to be part of a sales team

  • Proactive mindset with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership

  • Good knowledge of informatics tools
