Revvity Omics, a division of Revvity, is a clinical molecular and biochemical laboratory offering a variety of different screening and diagnostic testing options. From prenatal screening before birth to newborn screening shortly after birth and whole genome sequencing through one’s lifetime. Our goal is to provide valuable and insightful information about potential underlying genetic conditions, guiding patients and providers to improved health outcomes.

Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM


Duties and Responsibilities

Our team is seeking a Data Entry Associate to join us in our efforts to serve patients and families around the world. As the Data Entry Associate you will:


  • Enters alpha-numeric data from sample requisitions into LIS following format displayed on entry screen.
  • Compares data entered with information on sample requisitions and re-enters data if necessary.
  • Review completed work for errors, make corrections as needed.
  • Prepare and process outbound mail by inserting preprinted reports into envelops and sealing them for postal service delivery.
  • Coordinates paperwork and various required reports for high risk patients in the applicable departments.
  • Run reports at closing to resolve problems relating to: specimens collected at <24 hours, specimens lacking birth date and/or collection date, specimens with missing PA physician information.
  • Other tasks as requested by the Sr. Manager Customer Service.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 0-1 years of data entry experience
  • Previous clinical laboratory experience

Working Conditions:

  • Clinical Laboratory environment; exposure to blood borne pathogens, hazardous chemicals; must wear personal protective equipment including lab coat, gloves and completely closed footwear while in the Laboratory.
  • Travel is not required.

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, use a keyboard, type, and occasionally stand and move to other parts of the lab.
  • Must have manual dexterity to use lab equipment.
  • Reach above/below the shoulder, bend at the knees and waist.
  • Able to lift boxes up to 25 pounds.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.


Compensation:

The base salary range for this full-time position is $15.00-$17.00/hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. 


Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
