Role Overview
The RH Software Platforms Director will lead the strategic direction, delivery, and continuous evolution of software platforms across the Reproductive Health (RH) business, with a primary focus on the Evoya ecosystem. Reporting directly to the GM, Reproductive Health, the Director will act as the central integrator between Product Management, R&D, Digital Products, and Commercial teams to ensure scalable, high‑performing software platforms that meet customer needs, regulatory requirements, and business growth objectives.
This role combines strategic product leadership, cross‑functional program management, and strong technical stewardship to ensure that Evoya and related RH software solutions continue to evolve with clarity, speed, and customer value at the forefront.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product & Platform Strategy
Own and refine the long‑term software platform strategy for Evoya and related RH digital solutions, ensuring alignment with broader RH business priorities.
Translate market trends, customer insights, and internal innovation opportunities into a clear roadmap.
Drive AI‑enabled product evolution, including identifying meaningful AI applications and value‑based monetization models.
2. Cross‑Functional Leadership
Serve as the primary interface between Product Management, R&D, Digital Products, and Commercial teams for all RH software platform matters.
Lead cross‑functional alignment on priorities, timelines, and resource allocations.
Ensure consistent communication channels and governance structures for program execution.
3. Execution & Delivery Excellence
Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of platform enhancements, releases, and long‑term software initiatives.
Implement scalable workflows, best practices, and SDLC standards across distributed internal and external teams.
Support backlog grooming and prioritization to ensure delivery of the most impactful features for customers.
4. Customer-Centric Development
Champion Voice of Customer (VOC) integration throughout development.
Collaborate with regional teams and key customers to ensure usability, performance, and workflow fit.
Communicate the value of software capabilities effectively in support of sales and commercialization.
5. AI & Innovation Leadership
Guide teams in leveraging AI for both product capabilities and internal development acceleration.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies, architectures, and approaches that strengthen the platform.
6. Performance, Quality & Compliance
Drive adherence to quality systems, documentation standards, and compliance requirements (e.g., QMS/ISMS, IVDR‑related needs where applicable).
Oversee platform reliability, cybersecurity, and lifecycle maintenance, including sunsetting of legacy software as needed.
7. Organizational Development
Mentor cross‑functional contributors and support building high‑performing teams across Product, R&D, and Digital Products.
Shape RH’s future software capabilities by identifying skill needs, improving ways of working, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required Experience & Skills
10+ years of experience in software product leadership, platform management, or technical program management, preferably in healthcare, life sciences, diagnostics, or enterprise software.
Demonstrated success leading complex software programs involving AI‑driven products, cloud‑based platforms, or distributed systems.
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile frameworks, and modern software development practices.
Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, UX, Data Science, and Commercial teams.
Experience managing or coordinating with external or centralized development resources.
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate customer/user needs into actionable product and technical requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Background in regulated environments (e.g., IVDR, medical devices, health IT) or familiarity with QMS/ISMS frameworks.
Experience in AI/ML product development.
Experience leading global teams across different time zones.
Prior direct involvement with diagnostics, genomics, population screening, or laboratory workflows is a strong plus.

COMPENSATION RANGE:
The base salary range for this part-time position is $135,000-169,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
