Bottling Coordinator

BioLegend is looking for a Bottling Coordinator for our Form, Fill, and Finish Group. This role will be responsible for planning and coordinating both routine and non-routine work in addition to regular bottling tech functions. This is a highly team oriented group which involves working closely with all core teams within the Bottling Department as well as other departments such as Planning, Receiving, Inventory Control, Custom Solution Team (CST), Packaging and Quality Control groups.

Essential Functions

• Coordinating work according to the bottling schedule provided by various business groups
• Participate in leadership discussions on capacity planning and use of resources within the bottling team
• Data entry and production documentation completion tasks
• Training bottling technicians in various roles and responsibilities
• Various other tasks to ensure the bottling team runs smoothly
• Backup lead when lead is not present
• Supplement production output to meet customer need
• Support and/or spearhead customer complaint investigations, non-conformance filing and investigation, root cause analysis and corrective actions as needed
• Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.

Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience

• High school diploma/GED or some college
• 1 year of experience in a biotech manufacturing environment
• 6 months of experience with automatic filling machines
  

Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience

• Aseptic Technique in biosafety cabinet
• Demonstrated high levels of teamwork, quality, and productivity

Work Environment & Physical Demands- Lab

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a laboratory environment with occasional data entry on a computer. Occasional exposure to a warehouse environment.
