Job Summary
This laboratory position will be responsible for Inventory transferring to manufacturing, handling antibody material/products in a laboratory environment, perform data entry, and Inventory adjustments for maintaining accuracy in our Enterprise Resource Planning system. They will also perform inventory counts for maintaining accuracy of inventories for Raw materials and Bulk products. This individual will be detailed oriented and become an integral member of a driven team that ensures product accuracy and delivery to our internal customers. This position will work closely with manufacturing, planning, quality control, packaging, material specialist, customer service, and Receiving/shipping personnel.
Essential Functions

- Handle antibody products, calculating volumes, and understanding of concentrations
- Understanding Tier, I standard operating procedures
- Aliquot and transfer materials for internal customer use and for inventory needs
- Release and finish production orders, assigning lot numbers and post consumptions in ERP system.
- Perform inventory cycle counts and maintain accuracy of inventory of Bulk and Components
- Know how to reconcile inventory
- Know how to follow Standard operating procedures
- Ensures compliances with company and department rules, policies, procedures and internal checklist.
- Reporting to work, taking breaks and taking lunch before 5th hour timely
- Reporting Key Performance indicators to QDIP Board or Lead
- Meet on Time Delivery for our Internal Customers at BioLegend
- Understand the meaning behind the Bin Code Nomenclature
- Know how to use our inventory management System “Perfect Pick”
- Knows how to aliquot materials in a fume hood
- Know how to print labels following bartender software
Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience
- 6 months of lab experience
- 1 year of Inventory Control Experience
Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience
- Previous experience with Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) or ERP
- Experience working under aseptic conditions
- Hands on experience with handling antibody materials or chemical buffers
- Experience in an ISO13485/MDSAP/FDA environment
- Previous experience using UV-VIS spectrophotometer
- Prior experience in life science, biotechnology industry or process manufacturing industry
- Prior experience handling multiple product lines with high volume and high mix of SKU’s
- Previous experience with Inventory Control and Reconciling
The base salary range for this full-time position is $21-25/ hour (including Inventory Control Associate at level I and II range). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Office
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting 30% of the time.
The associate is required to be entering/updating detailed information into our ERP system for Inventory and product information accuracy.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand/sit, talk and hear.
Lab
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a laboratory environment 50% of the time.
The associate is required to be aliquoting bulk liquid materials for manufacturing. To pipette requested materials for internal testing and production work orders on a timely manner to meet customer demand. The exposure of 2-8c or -20c and handling -80c materials will be required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand or sit while performing task.
Warehouse
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a warehouse environment 20% of the time.
The associate is required to operate our inventory management system “Perfect Pick” to meet customer demand for Internal testing or production work orders. The exposure of 2-8c or -20c and handling -80c materials will be required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear.
