Job Summary:
BioLegend (a division of Revvity, Inc.) is looking for an effective communicator to serve as our Materials Specialist who does well with organization and structure. In this role you will operate in a fast-paced high-volume environment, staying in constant communication with customer service, packaging technicians, and shipping representatives to ensure on time delivery with 100% customer satisfaction. This role is essential to keeping the finished goods organized and accounted for. A candidate for this role should also be comfortable with and use discretion when dealing with errors and complaints.
Job Responsibilities:

• Transferring of materials for internal customers• Maintain accuracy of inventories for finish good inventory and components
• Perform inventory cycle counts and maintain accuracy of inventory of Finish Goods and Components
• Follow materials in house temperature and identification requirements.
• Reconcile inventory transactions.
• Follow Standard operating procedures (SOP) / Work Instructions (WI)
• Assist in trouble shooting shipping errors.
• Complete and certify on Material Specialist Tier I SOP trainings.
• Ensures compliances with company and department rules, policies, procedures, and internal checklist.
• Reporting to work, taking breaks and taking lunch before 5th hour timely
• Reporting Key Performance indicators to QDIP Board or Lead
• Meet on Time Delivery for our Internal Customers at BioLegend
• Company specific Bin Code Nomenclature
• Use inventory management System “Perfect Pick”.
• Proper organization within out Freezer/Cold Rooms/Ambient areas
• Print labels following bartender software

Basic Qualifications:
• 1 year of lab experience in an ISO13485/MDSAP/FDA environment
• 2 years of Inventory Control Experience
• Experience working cold conditions
• Hands on experience with handling antibody materials or chemical buffers
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience with Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) or ERP
• Prior experience in life science, biotechnology industry or process manufacturing industry
• Prior experience handling multiple product lines with high volume and high mix of SKU’s
• Previous experience with Inventory Control and Reconciling
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Office 30%
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting 30% of the time. The associate is required to be entering/updating detailed information into our ERP system for Inventory and product information accuracy. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand/sit, talk and hear.
Lab 20%
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a laboratory environment 20% of the time. The associate is required to enter lab areas and follow proper PPE for pulling finish good inventory for inventory movements. To pull requested materials for internal testing and production, work orders on a timely manner to meet customer demand. The exposure of 2-8c or -20c and handling -80c materials will be required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand or sit while performing task.
Warehouse 50%
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a warehouse environment 50% of the time. The associate is required to operate our inventory management system “Perfect Pick” to meet customer demand for Internal testing or production work orders. The exposure of 2-8c or -20c and handling -80c materials will be required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear.
The pay range for this full-time position is a wage of $18.00 - $22.00 USD Hourly. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The pay offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
