BioLegend is looking for an energetic Shipping Representative to work in our dynamic, fast paced warehouse environment. This position is one of the most important in the company as shipping is the last check for quality and outstanding customer service prior to shipment. Because of BioLegend’s sustained explosive growth, expect to process thousands of orders every day with the support of an enthusiastic team with a “can do” attitude. As a tier I Shipping Representative, training standards should be implemented and adhered to.

**Hours would be 10am-6:30pm Monday- Friday

Essential Functions

  • Reports defective materials to Department Supervisor
  • Working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to search multiple product locations within inventory.
  • Organize and manage consumable inventory
  • Occasionally handling blue ice with gloves
  • Process a high volume of orders for both international and domestic destinations
  • Effectively communicate on a regular basis with customer service to ensure any last minute requirements are met and tracking information is sent
  • Work with a variety of postal carriers to include FEDEX, DHL, UPS and KWE
  • Efficiently pack orders to balance both weight and volume
  • Edit and draft standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Dangerous goods shipping
  • Assist packaging technicians pick and pack orders as needed
  • Meet performance targets
  • Support 5S activities throughout the warehouse
  • Report and/or solve posting issues with NAV

Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to ensure quality while fulfilling a high amount of orders
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience

  • IATA/DOT certified dangerous goods handler
  • Recent shipping experience with both international and domestic orders
  • Microsoft Dynamics (NAV) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Qualified Trainer
  • ISO 13485 experience
  • 2 years of related warehouse inventory experience
  • 2 years’ experience working with

The base salary range for this full-time position is $18-22/hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. 

Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.

Work Environment & Physical Demands- Warehouse

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a warehouse environment with occasional data entry on a computer. Occasional exposure to a laboratory environment. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear.
