BioLegend (a division of Revvity, Inc.) has an opening for a Software Solutions Manager our Emerging Technology Department.  The ideal candidate will coordinate and help manage BioLegend’s software ecosystem. 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): working with internal/external stakeholders, gathering new requirements from users, working with software team to design and improve user interface, performing system testing and validation of software applications. In addition, responsibilities include preparing reports on project specifications/activities/status, providing comprehensive support to customers and resolving any outstanding problems or issues.  This position will collaborate with internal business units, management teams, and software developers to help prioritize and manage competing demands for new software features and products.  A successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of single cell technologies and their applications in various domains and a broad understanding of software life-cycle.

As a Software Solutions Manager you will play a vital role in orchestrating and managing multiple software platforms within BioLegend and  Revvity: 

  • Serve as an advocate for the internal/external users and bring their perspective to the table to help BioLegend build best-in-class software tools spanning multiple product lines.  
  • Proactivity identify emerging software needs in domains served by BioLegend Products.  
  • Translate user needs into requirements for new features and improvements in collaboration with internal and external users and the software team.  
  • Contribute to ongoing software strategy discussions, help communicate strategy, development plans and timelines to internal and external stakeholders.  
  • Recruit early adopters and KOLs as users of our software tools, articulate critical feedback from these users to the software team.  
  • Coordinate and contribute to various activities relating to software release, including but not limited to: the development of training materials, validation plans, product launch campaigns, support Tech Service inquiries, and liaise with Marketing, QA, Finance, and Field teams.  
  • Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.

Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience

  • PhD in Immunology, or related biological sciences
  • 5+ years of Biotech industry experience
  • Project management and team leadership experience
  • Highly familiar with Flow Cytometry and NGS based single cell platforms and related experimental and data analysis workflows. 
  • Strong understanding of immunology, oncology, and related fields where single cell technologies are widely used. 
  • Expert user of existing commercial software for the analysis of single cell data. 
  • Proven record of managing multi-disciplinary projects. 

Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience

  • Up to date with market trends in the single cell domain. 
  • Enjoys data analysis using visualization tools like Spotfire, Tableau, and Excel. 

The base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000-$165,000/year. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. 

Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
