- Execute and support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and corporate reporting, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local GAAP requirements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheet reconciliations, financial statements, and variance analyses, ensuring proper classification and allocation of transactions.
- Manage fixed assets and related processes, including depreciation and amortization, as well as ensure proper accounting treatment of inventory-related transactions, such as imports.
- Support the preparation of statutory and fiscal reporting (e.g., ECD, ECF) and local financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory and tax requirements.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and corporate policies, including active participation in internal and external audits and SOX compliance activities.
- Review and validate accounting transactions, including expense reimbursements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Provide accounting guidance and support to business areas, clarifying processes and ensuring proper recording of financial transactions.
- Analyze financial data, trends, and variances to support management decision-making and identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Maintain and update the chart of accounts in line with accounting standards and organizational needs.
- Participate in cross-functional and process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of financial operations.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 3-4 year of experience
- Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong computer PC skills including MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, & Access) and Accounting Systems (D365, SAP)
- Capable to work under stress and tight deadlines
- SAP system;
- Statutory reporting;
- Tax legislation basic knowledge
