Responsible for orders and revenue growth of Life science products in Korea
Responsible for account and channel management, identification of new targeted accounts, and improvement of overall market share and profitability
Act as the primary sales and account management professional and maintain close relationship with customers and dealers
Develop and maintain accounts/prospect records
Source, analyse and report competitors' information and product strategy
Follow up and track accounts receivables
Generate weekly and monthly sales reports via SAP based on forecast, sales and backlog reports
Issue quotes and service contracts before expiry in an accurate and timely manner.
Proactively assist sales by generating opportunities from current promotions through targeted phone calls to customer base
Run marketing campaigns for Consumables on a regular basis
Work together with the marketing team on the logistics part for local marketing activities including trade displays and conferences
Organize seminars and workshops for customers
Ensure sales deals and customer specific pricing is updated in SAP
Co-ordinate the complain/feedback process between, sales, customer and manufacturing
Maintain high quality records that allow accurate and timely reports and metrics to be provided to the Sales and Service Leader
Assist the front line sales teams with organizing logistics for customer demos and installations
Co-ordinate with customer care on batch/stock maintenance and delivery of standing orders
Undertaking special projects as required by the Sales and Service Leader
An experienced sales professional specializing in cross-selling and positioning end-to-end genomic workflows as an integrated single-product solution.
Ability to introduce and promote products to pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, and academic customers in Korea.
Demonstrated experience in sales within domestic pharmaceutical companies and CDMOs, accompanied by a well-established customer network
Proven track record of supplying reagents and executing projects for process development (PD) phases in pharmaceutical R&D laboratories and CDMO
KEY CAPABILITIES REQUIRED
Academic Qualifications:
Preferred to have a master’s degree of Bio medicine or Science majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology or Biotechnology or equivalent disciplines.
Work Experience:
Minimum 3 years’ working experience focusing on Life Science Industry.
Experience working in drug screening, functional genomics or NGS lab is a benefit.
Familiarity with any of the following is desirable, although training will be provided ELISA, NGS, sample extraction, PCR, cell/animal imaging techniques.
Key capabilities expected for the job :
Technical experience in cell culture, proteomics and/or genomics
Good written and oral communication skills
Team player and collaborative approach to problem solving.
Willingness to travel.
