HR Technology Strategy & Digital Transformation

  • Define and execute the global HR technology strategy & roadmap aligned with the organization’s people strategy and digital transformation roadmap. 
  • Lead governance and optimization of the global HR technology ecosystem across all applications with a primary focus on Workday HRIS and associated modules. 
  • Establish technology standards, architecture principles, and best practices across HR systems globally. 
  • Ensure HR technology platforms support scalability, compliance, data security, and business agility. 
  • Drive adoption of digital HR capabilities, automation, and AI-enabled solutions. 

HRIS & Platform Leadership

  • Own the global roadmap and optimization for Workday HRIS, covering areas such as Core HCM, Talent, Learning, and employee lifecycle management. 
  • Oversee the performance, configuration, upgrades, and continuous improvement of HR applications. 
  • Ensure seamless integration across HR platforms including learning systems, employee experience tools, culture applications, and self-service portals. 
  • Drive adoption and usability of HR technologies across regions. 
  • Partner with Learning & Talent teams to enable modern, scalable digital learning ecosystems. 
  • Oversee platforms supporting culture measurement, employee listening, engagement surveys, and feedback tools. 
  • Lead technology solutions that enhance internal communication, employee connection, and collaboration, including platforms such as SharePoint /Work vivo and enterprise communication tools. 
  • Lead the strategy, implementation, and continuous enhancement of the organization’s Employee Self-Service (ESS) platform, enabling a seamless digital experience for employees to access HR services, manage personal information, submit requests, and interact with HR through a centralized portal. Drive automation of routine HR transactions, improve service delivery through digital workflows and AI-enabled support, and enhance overall employee experience while reducing administrative workload for HR teams globally. 

Automation, AI & Innovation

  • Identify and scale automation opportunities across HR processes to improve efficiency and service delivery. 
  • Partner with IT and digital teams to deploy AI-enabled HR capabilities and intelligent workflows. 

Mergers, Acquisitions & System Integration

  • Lead HR technology integration efforts for mergers, acquisitions, and business expansions. 
  • Ensure seamless data migration, system integration, and platform harmonization across acquired entities. 
  • Develop scalable frameworks for integrating new business units into the global HR technology ecosystem. 

Global Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the strategic technology partner to global HR leadership, Centers of Excellence, and HR Operations teams. 
  • Collaborate with IT, security, and enterprise architecture teams to ensure alignment with global technology standards. 

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and develop a global team of HR technology specialists, system administrators, and digital transformation experts. 
  • Build organizational capability across Workday, integrations, automation, and HR digital transformation. 
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 

Vendor & Technology Ecosystem Management

  • Manage strategic relationships with HR technology vendors and implementation partners. 
  • Ensure vendor performance aligns with service level agreements and business outcomes. 
  • Evaluate new technology platforms and solutions to enhance the HR technology ecosystem. 

Experience 

  • 12–18+ years of experience in HR technology, HRIS, or HR digital transformation roles. 
  • Significant experience implementing / leading Workday HRIS ecosystems within large global organizations. 
  • Exposure to other HR applications in learning employees, self-service and communication, and collaboration space. 
  • Proven track record of delivering global technology programs and digital transformation initiatives. 
  • Experience managing global teams and cross-regional stakeholders. 
  • Exposure to M&A technology integrations and enterprise system architecture is highly desirable.
