Job Description Summary:
In the role of Inside Sales Representative, you will generate prospective customers through cold calling and may qualify and follow up with sales leads. Sales can be made through multi-channel, inbound and/or outbound sales activities. Focuses on acquiring new customers and retaining and growing an existing installed base of customers. This role is not overlay to the field sales force, and these incumbents carry their own quota that is distinct from the field sales force. Keeps up-to-date knowledge of the industry, as well as the competitive posture of the company, and prepares activity and forecast reports as requested. Has thorough knowledge of company products, systems and services. May direct customers to website or other company resources for information.

Responsibilities:
Work closely with key account sales team to align daily activities and practices to effectively meet assigned business objectives and quota in strategic approach
Communicate effectively over the phone, in writing, and in person within the context of a highly professional, technical/clinical, consultative inside sales environment. Interprets messages and responds appropriately in a timely manner.
Ability to identify critical actions and adjust priorities as necessary.
Document and track all leads, contacts, opportunities, and activity history consistently and in accordance with best practices within the Salesforce.com
Conduct planning and research using a variety of database, internet, and industry tools, demonstrating clear understanding of client stakeholders and requirements and matching to the proposed solution
Collaborate with the regional sales on tactics to meet business objectives regarding opportunity development and closed business
Negotiate and find effective solutions to questions, requests, and/or points of conflict with both clients and internal stakeholders with a focus on mutual benefit and lasting relationships
Demonstrate technical capacity to understand sales tools (Web, database, CRM, Order Management, reports) and be able to effectively articulate technical and/or clinical information in an easily understood manner
Ability to identify critical actions and adjust priorities as necessary.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Science.
MBA in Marketing.
Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in Inside Sales preferably from Life Sciences industry.
Effectively communicates with and engages all levels of the organization verbally and in writing; produces clear, understandable documentation geared for all audiences.
Must be an analytical thinker and the ability to solve problems proactively.
Strong operational mindset to create standardized, repeatable financial reports and deliver them with accuracy and timeliness.
