Revvity's Turku site has over 500 employees and is a key location for manufacturing and product development in newborn, maternal-fetal health, and prenatal screening. As a global leader in newborn screening, our solutions have tested over 700 million babies worldwide for life-threatening diseases.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HR Generalist 60% (with Recruitment 40%) to join our Turku People & Culture team. In this role, you will:

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers at our Finland site, providing excellent customer service in person, by phone, and digitally.

  • Collaborate with the Site HRBPs on escalated requests and provide guidance on Finnish labor law and union relations, supporting on related actions and communications.

  • Focus on continuous process improvements and data accuracy, ensuring high-quality, customised solutions and first-call resolutions for employees.

  • Support the recruitment process end-to-end, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding, while building strong talent pipelines and ensuring a positive candidate experience.

This is a key role in ensuring effective HR operations and recruitment for our growing Turku site.

Role Accountabilities – HR Generalist 60%

  • Engage with new hires to ensure smooth transition from candidate to onboarded employee, including conducting orientation, and supporting onboarding inquiries and activities.

  • Provide foundational human resources support throughout the employee lifecycle for employees in Finland, from pre-hire to post-termination. Triage, answer and escalate inquiries as needed.

  • Creation of employment contracts, contract amendments and respective employment documentation.

  • Provide first-line HR system support to users who need help with Workday and other HR systems, local and global.

  • Manage employee records (both physical and electronic), ensuring accurate information is included on all records, and that records are appropriately updated.

  • Support auditing and reporting requests as required and review data for accuracy.

  • Conduct system testing and participate in process implementation or improvement activities as assigned by your manager. Identify and notify your manager of any areas of opportunity for process improvement and enhancement of the employee experience.

  • Work with the Local and Regional HRBPs to ensure that all the legal obligations related to employees’ representatives in Finland are fulfilled.

  • Act as back-up for other HR Operations colleagues and their respective client groups as needed.

  • Deliver appropriate, thorough, and thoughtful communications to employees, managers, and other HR team members through multiple channels.

  • Prepare and facilitate mandatory Trade Unions meetings and liaise with them on a regular basis to develop a positive working relationship.

  • Participate in CBA negotiations in support of country/region HRBPs.

  • Additional assignments/projects as provided by your manager.

Recruitment Support (40%)

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring for various roles.

  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines, collaborating with hiring managers to meet organizational staffing needs.

  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process and support onboarding efforts.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years+ of HR Generalist experience

  • *Experience working operating within Talent Acquisition (ideal)

  • Fluent in English and Finnish; preference for ability to communicate in additional European languages.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, both within HR and the wider business, managing expectations and needs appropriately.

  • Well-versed in MS Office products and a demonstrated high aptitude for learning new HR systems, processes, and policies with a self-driven passion for continuous learning and development.

  • Ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle situations with appropriate care and compassion

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • High levels of emotional intelligence with a customer service approach to supporting employees.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and fluctuating levels of demand, strong organizational skills, and the ability to independently complete tasks with minimal supervision.
