Laboratory Technologist
Part time
Turku, Finland / Omics
Our Turku site, Wallac Oy, is one of the largest production and product development units within Revvity’s Diagnostics business. Currently, more than 500 people work in Turku. At the site, we develop and manufacture instruments, chemical reagents, and software for screening and research purposes. We are a market leader in providing screening systems for newborns and pregnant women, and our products are used in more than 100 countries worldwide.
You will perform high-throughput clinical genome sequencing and related clinical assays, ensuring test results meet diagnostic expectations. You will also support troubleshooting, validation, quality monitoring, and timely reporting of quality events, while helping with regulatory and internal audit readiness.

Possibility to work 4 days per week, 5 hours per day or 3 days per week, ~6,5 hours per day.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical test processes and evaluate results against the diagnostic assessment.
Run clinical and development testing, including shift work as required.
Apply strict quality control practices to protect specimen integrity and ensure accurate results.
Write and update operational procedures, troubleshoot workflows, and help implement process improvements and new services.
Monitor laboratory key performance indicators, quality metrics, and QC programs; report quality events promptly to the laboratory director and quality management.
Basic qualifications
2+ years of relevant experience in a regulated environment using molecular techniques, including high-throughput DNA sequencing, in a commercial, academic, or government laboratory.
Experience with nucleic acid–based assays.
Strong attention to detail and organization, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred qualifications
Practical experience with clinical laboratory practices and protocols.
Working knowledge of quality control practices and requirements aligned with FINAS and ISO 15189:2022.
Experience supporting regulatory, due diligence, or internal auditing activities.
