The Turku Site, with over 500 employees, represents one of Revvity’s major manufacturing and product development sites for newborn, maternal fetal health, and prenatal screening. As the global market leader in newborn screening, our solutions have tested over 700 million babies worldwide for life-threatening diseases.

We are now seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Sourcing Specialist.

The Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the sourcing of materials and managing projects related to our newborn screening assays. This role requires a strong background in chemistry and excellent project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and procure materials required to produce newborn screening assays.

  • Manage and coordinate projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, and quality assurance.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.

  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Prepare and present project reports to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Proven experience in sourcing and project management, preferably in the healthcare or biotechnology industry.

  • Strong understanding of newborn screening assays and related products.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

  • Language requirements: Professional English mandatory, Finnish preferred but not required.
