The Big Picture

Within the Human Resources South Europe team, the HR Operation Specialist manages end-to-end pre-payroll operations for France and Belgium. They handle time management, provide day-to-day guidance to employees and managers, and help ensure payroll inputs are accurate, complete, and delivered on time.

Your Superpowers in Action

  • Configure and maintain time management software used for France and Belgium, including associated tools and related settings.
  • Manage working-time administration, including entering annual entitlements (such as RTT and paid leave), verifying annual entitlements and balances, creating manager follow-up reports, and triggering alerts when anomalies or support needs arise.
  • Track absences end-to-end, including data entry, maintaining absence records, and submitting absence declarations through administrative portals.
  • Collect, validate, and transmit payroll input variables (such as meal vouchers, telework allowance, on-call or special premiums, local premium adjustments), ensuring accuracy across HR systems.
  • Support reporting and HR process continuity by producing regular dashboards and contributing to payroll-related reporting, while also stepping in to cover payroll responsibilities during absences.
  • Producing annual reports for their scope
  • Contributes to post-payroll cost control in collaboration with Finance
  • Provides coverage for the Payroll Specialist during their absences

Location

This position requires to work at least 2 days per week at our offices in Bussy-Saint-Martin (remowe work authorized for the rest of the week).

Qualifications

  • Professional title or degree at Bac +2/3 level in accounting, human resources, or business management
  • Proven experience in payroll management and personnel administration
  • Experience in international, matrix-based organizations
  • Knowledge of labor law in at least two European countries
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate, reliable HR and payroll data
  • High organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Ability to develop and maintain a strong employee experience, including clear communication, adaptability, relationship building, and problem-solving
  • Expertise in one or more payroll and HR software systems (preferably Workday and ADP)
  • Strong collaboration skills with adjacent teams and related functions
  • English at professional level expected to work in an international environment
