Sr. Manager of Consolidations and Financial Systems

This position is responsible for overseeing the monthly close process, reviewing global financial results, resolving accounting issues, and preparing internal financial statements and data for consolidated external financial reports. The role also includes designing, operating, and maintaining the Hyperion Consolidation System.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the monthly consolidation of financial results into Hyperion for both internal and external reporting, implementing a monitoring system to assess effectiveness and drive improvements.

• Analyze submitted monthly results, identify accounting issues, and collaborate with regional and site controllers to resolve and correct discrepancies.

• Coordinate key Controllership activities, including balance sheet reviews and auditor requests.

• Support the earnings release process by collaborating with Financial Reporting, Investor Relations, and Legal to prepare external materials.

• Work with Site Controllers and FP&A to implement improvements in the financial reporting systems.

• Act as the primary architect of the consolidation system and develop global procedures for internal and external reporting support.

• Lead ad-hoc projects as needed.

Basic Requirements:

• CPA.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

• At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of US GAAP, foreign currency, intercompany transactions, and global accounting issues.

• Experience with Hyperion or similar consolidation and reporting software.

• Experience with Consolidation Systems, Budgeting Systems, and Data Warehouse Systems.

• Proven success in leading multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical decisions and strategies into business terms.
