Energy reduction
Our campus headquarters is LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certified, including a 4,830 sq. ft green roof, solar panels, and electric charging stations in our parking structure.

Water conservation
Our landscape incorporates drought-tolerant plants and drip-system/smart monitoring irrigation to reduce water use and loss. We use recycled water for landscape irrigation where secondary water facilities exist.

Waste reduction
BioLegend has a comprehensive hazardous and biohazardous waste management program to ensure complete compliance with all local, state and federal hazardous waste laws and to minimize production of hazardous wastes.

Product packaging
We have adopted an initiative to reduce plastics and replace expanded polystyrene while still conforming with DOT/IATA guidelines and certification with ASTM and ISTA.

Biodiversity
BioLegend recognizes the value and responsibility of our facilities being housed near naturally occurring native plants and animals.

BioLegend has provided 55 clean air/carpool/vanpool parking spaces, 41 of which are EV charging ready.
