The Master Planner for North American Reproductive Health serves as a critical supply chain partner ensuring uninterrupted availability of essential newborn screening supplies to State Newborn Screening programs across North America.
This role requires exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail to coordinate complex supply chain operations between our Turku, Finland manufacturing site and Hopkinton, MA forward stocking location. The Master Planner is responsible for demand planning, inventory optimization, and seamless coordination to support life-saving diagnostic programs.
This is a remote role; while onsite visits are rare, candidates within driving distance of Hopkinton, MA are preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supply Chain Planning & Coordination
- Develop and maintain master production schedules for North American Reproductive Health product portfolio, with primary focus on newborn screening supplies
- Coordinate supply planning activities between Turku, Finland manufacturing facility and Hopkinton, MA forward stocking location
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock positioning to ensure 100% service level to State Newborn Screening programs
- Manage lead times, safety stock levels, and reorder points for critical supplies
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders regarding supply status, potential disruptions, and mitigation plans
- Collaborate with international manufacturing teams to align production schedules with demand forecasts
Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Analyze historical usage patterns and collaborate with Sales team to develop accurate demand forecasts
- Adjust planning parameters based on changing customer requirements and market dynamics
- Support new product launches and phase-out activities
Continuous Improvement & Reporting
- Develop and maintain KPIs related to inventory turns, fill rates, and forecast accuracy
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve supply chain efficiency
- Maintain accurate records in ERP/planning systems
- Participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings and provide supply chain insights
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supply chain planning, master planning, or demand planning
- Minimum 1 year of experience coordinating international supply chains and working with global manufacturing sites
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in regulated industries (medical devices, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals) strongly preferred
APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD) - Experience with newborn screening or reproductive health products
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and quality management systems (ISO 13485)
- Experience with demand planning software or advanced planning systems
- Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies

- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills

The base salary range for this full-time position is $81,000 - $101,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
