Responsibilities:
- Provide a well maintained, serviceable and safe working environment through the delivery and management of a planned and proactive maintenance program
- Assist in the selection, coordination and monitoring of third-party service suppliers and contractors, ensuring the standards of service delivery meet or exceed the agreed contract and service level agreements
- Support and assist in the development and delivery of facilities, health and safety, business continuity policies and procedures, always ensuring compliance
- Develop and maintain effective on-site paper records and electronic filing systems for ensuring accurate records are maintained and held centrally for all facilities activities in accordance with QMS
- Form part of the team that handles ‘out-of-hours’ calls for emergencies, maintenance and other activities as needed and when required
- Ensure all routine facility equipment and working environment checks are performed
- Respond to daily work order requests.
- Support facility soft services as needed and directed such as meeting preparation, conference room reservations, and badging
- Review and update Facility SOP’s as needed
- Maintain the site building management system
- Work with site management preparing annual operating budget and capital expenditures
- Must possess the ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings

Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma
- 3 years or more of facilities experience working in a manufacturing and/or laboratory environment.
- Massachusetts Wastewater license. Grade 1I or higher
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities, Engineering, or STEM
- Demonstrate necessary experience in facilities, utilities, and equipment management
- Professional certification in a relevant technical trade such as HVAC, control systems, plumbing, fire safety, or electrical.
- Strong technical skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Good understanding of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems
- Good understanding of laboratory waste management
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
- Personable with excellent interaction skills
- Extensive understanding and use of MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Be able to take responsibility, complete to timelines and exercise flexibility
