This role will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of corporate accounting policies, procedures, and systems. Maintains accurate financial records and prepares financial reports. Proactively participate to the month end close\year end close under US GAAP and support the preparation of the local gaap financial statement. Actively participate on the preparation of all local fiscal reporting mandatory to achieve full compliance (VAT\Intrat\EC list\ecc). Presents insights and recommendations to senior management. Ensures compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements by establishing strong internal controls and procedures.
Join our finance team as a Financial Accountant partnering with the Accounting Manager to maintain fiscal integrity across multiple site locations. In this role, you'll help establish and maintain accounting principles while ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Responsibilities:
Managing US GAAP general accounting and local books,
Execute monthly close procedures including journal entries, reconciliations, and corporate reporting.
Support annual audit processes, statutory audits, and maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
Prepare and maintain accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Identify and document accounting issues while staying current on technical accounting pronouncements and guidance.
Participate in cross-functional projects both within and outside assigned accounting areas, building expertise for future growth opportunities.
Analyze financial trends and variances that help leadership make informed decisions.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations while maintaining strong internal controls.
Preparation of Local GAAP Annual Financial statements
Prepare\manage the local fiscal reporting including VAT\Intrastat\EC List \ ecc
Participate in process improvement projects that enhance efficiency and accuracy in our financial operations.
Requirements for the position:
University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Fluent in English language required
3+ years of experience in accounting/finance, with full cycle general ledger accounting experience.
Demonstrated experience in month end closing and maintaining a ledger independently
Knowledge of MS Office and financial systems (SAP FI, Oracle),
Advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy,
Preferred experience within a Shared Service Centre environment.
