Job Role and Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of pricing strategies across GGM regions, partnering with regional sales leaders and business unit heads to achieve revenue and margin targets
Enable data-driven decisions: Utilize competitive intelligence, market insights, as available, to drive pricing recommendations to senior leadership, enabling informed pricing decisions across diverse economic environments
Translate insights to action: Convert complex pricing analytics into clear, actionable strategies that regional teams can execute effectively
Conduct sophisticated pricing analysis: Utilize elasticity modeling, price-volume analysis, discounting analyses, margin optimization, and customer segmentation across multiple currencies and market conditions
Identify growth opportunities: Quantify pricing opportunities that improve conversion rates, deal values, average selling prices, and customer lifetime value
Lead stakeholder reviews: Present findings and recommendations with confidence during regular analytics reviews with regional stakeholders, defending data-based insights and driving performance improvements
Mine and interpret data: Analyze complex financial, statistical, and competitive pricing data from multiple sources to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities requiring immediate action
Balance global consistency with local adaptation: Manage pricing frameworks that maintain strategic consistency while adapting to local market dynamics, competitive pressures, and economic conditions
Coordinate across time zones: Work effectively with regional teams across EMEA, Asia, and Americas time zones to ensure pricing alignment and timely execution
Resolve pricing inquiries: Serve as the go-to expert for pricing-related questions from business partners, providing rapid, accurate analysis and recommendations
Build trusted partnerships: Develop strong working relationships with regional commercial teams, finance, and business unit leaders
Maintain pricing discipline: Ensure SOPs are consistently applied and maintain detailed documentation of pricing approaches, discount approvals, deal structures, and exceptions for audit readiness
Monitor competitive landscape: Track and analyze pricing trends by technology, product line, geography, and competitor, proactively flagging risks and opportunities to stakeholders
Ensure data integrity: Maintain high standards for data quality and analytical rigor in all pricing decisions and recommendations
Basic Qualifications:
3-5 years of B2B pricing experience in life sciences, diagnostics, laboratory instrumentation, or related high-tech industries; or equivalent experience in Finance, marketing or commercial operations may be substituted
Proven track record managing pricing across multiple international markets with varying economic conditions, competitive dynamics, and regulatory environments
Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to translate complex data into strategic business recommendations that drive results
Advanced Excel proficiency: Complex financial modeling, advanced formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation, and scenario analysis
Data analytics tools: Hands-on experience with at least one of: Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau, or similar analytics/visualization platforms
Data mining expertise: Ability to extract insights from large, complex datasets across multiple systems
AI Expertise: Working knowledge and prior use of AI/GenAI tools in a business setting
Excellent stakeholder management: Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leaders across cultures and organizational levels
Strong presentation skills: Confidently present and defend data-based findings to diverse audiences, from technical analysts to C-suite executives
Fluent English: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; additional languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, French, or other regional languages) highly valued
Cross-cultural agility: Comfortable working across diverse cultures, business practices, and communication styles
Time zone flexibility: Willingness to accommodate occasional early/late meetings to coordinate with Asia/APAC and Latin America teams
Self-directed: Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong team connections
