We're looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist to join our European Payroll team at Revvity! The new team member will ensure an accurate and compliant administration and coordination of payroll in a number of assigned countries with focus on Italy and Spain, and will be the central point of contact for any payroll related inquiries in those countries.

Scope of responsibility:

  • Develop close relationships with our Country HR teams, Finance teams and external providers to ensure the smooth flow of payroll related information.

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of the monthly Italian/Spanish payroll by either instructing external payroll partners or undertaking direct input in external payroll tools.

  • Review system generated test reports and participate in internal controls design and testing (SOX).

  • Perform tasks to establish and maintain employee payroll and benefits records (salaries, variable schemes, employee shares, health and other insurance policies, pensions schemes etc.)

  • Remit payments to tax and social insurance authorities and benefit providers, complete and submit any required regulatory forms.

  • Be the single point of contact for payroll inquiries for Italy and Spain, delivering an effective service to our internal customers.

  • Actively participate in payroll related process improvement initiatives & the development of payroll best-practice approaches.

  • Serving as a backup for other European countries and being flexible to change assigned countries at the manager's request.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of payroll experience covering various European countries, including Italy and Spain.

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting or related field.

  • Strong servicing mindset, feeling at ease when answering payroll inquiries of internal customers, both in writing and over the phone.

  • Passionate about HR administration, payroll and data accuracy.

  • Solid understanding of accounting, taxation, and finance concepts as it relates to payroll in European countries, including Italy and Spain.

  • Experience in external payroll platforms and managing external payroll providers.

  • English language skills at C1+ level (both written and verbal).

  • Resistant to stress and strive to meet deadlines in time.

  • Proficiency in Excel.

  • Ability to work from our Cracow's office at least 6 days per month.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with Workday as central HRIS platform.

  • Proficiency in Italian and/or Spanish language is a big plus.
