BioLegend’s Summer Internship Program
BioLegend’s 10-12-week summer internship program offers aspiring biotech professionals a meaningful, comprehensive understanding of the biotechnology industry sector at one of the world's leading producers of antibodies and reagent content development. This hands-on internship will give you the chance to develop your skills, collaborate with industry experts, and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, research-driven environment. BioLegend interns are known for their passion, creativity, and ability to make meaningful contributions to the company.
The program will run June 2 - September 13 (depending on individual’s University Academic Calendar)
**All selected interns will be required to obtain their own housing, travel, and transportation accommodations for the full duration of the internship program.

Internship Department Details:
Department Name: Immunoassay
Business Function: ELISA and ELISpot Product Development
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Conduct research and experiments in feasibility, optimization, and validation for ELISA and/or ELISpot product development
- Conduct project-related information searches and literature searches.
- Operate lab instruments according to procedures. Prepare reagents as required
- Contribute to scientific discussions and collaborations and present results.
- Other projects or responsibilities as may be required
Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience
- Currently enrolled or in process of completing a BS/BA or Master degree in life sciences or chemistry related program
- Must be a currently enrolled student at an accredited college or university with an expected graduation date of December 2025 or later
Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience
- Understanding principles of immunoassay methods used for protein analysis such as biomarkers
- Understanding principles or hand-on experience on cell culture techniques
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Excellent written and oral communications
- Results and goals oriented
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Lab
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a laboratory environment with occasional data entry on a computer. Occasional exposure to a warehouse environment.

The base salary range for the Summer Internship position is:
- $22.00/hr – Sophomore/Freshman standing (Class of 2028/2029)
- $23.00/hr – Junior standing (Class of 2027)
- $24.00/hr – Senior Standing (Completing December 2025/Class of 2026)
- $25.00 – $26.00/hr – current Master’s student (already has B.S. degree)
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
