Job Summary

BioLegend is looking for a Manufacturing Inventory Control Associate that will become an integral part of the Inventory Control team at a fast-growing company! This position will be responsible for material handling and inventory transferring needed to support ongoing manufacturing activities, handling antibody products, performing data entry, performing inventory counts, and assisting the inventory specialists with maintaining the accuracy of inventories of raw materials and bulk products. This position will work closely with Production, Planning, Quality Control, Packaging, Customer Service, and Warehouse personnel.

Essential Functions

  • Handle antibody products, including aliquoting from bulks, calculating concentrations, and adjusting concentrations
  • Perform data entry to document material transactions accurately
  • Aliquot and transfer bulk materials for internal customer use and for inventory needs
  • Release production orders in company Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
  • Maintain accuracy of inventories for raw materials, bulk products and transfer requests.
  • Perform inventory counts, write inventory count reports, perform adjustments in the ERP system
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies
  • Document processes and procedures used for the material handling.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience 

  • 1 year of related lab experience
  • Experience working under aseptic conditions
  • Hands-on experience with handling antibody materials or chemical buffers

Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience

  • Previous experience with Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
  • Previous experience using UV-VIS spectrophotometer
  • Prior experience in life science, biotechnology industry or process manufacturing industry
  • Familiarity with ISO or GMP regulatory compliance requirements
  • Associate’s degree in biology or a related science or completion of a Biotech Certification program 

The base salary range for this full-time position is $21-23/hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. 

Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
