Finance Automation Lead
Role overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Automation Lead to drive process improvement and automation initiatives within our Accounts Payable (AP) and General Ledger (GL) functions. The ideal candidate will combine strong project management skills with technical expertise to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive innovation in our finance department and make a significant impact on our organization's efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead automation projects for AP and GL processes, from conception to implementation.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction through automation.
Collaborate with finance teams and IT to develop and implement automated solutions.
Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
Analyze current processes and design future-state workflows.
Provide training and support for finance team members on new automated systems.
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using technologies such as RPA (Robotic Process Automation), Power Platform, and other relevant software.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all automation projects.
Monitor and analyze the performance of automated processes, making adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automation technologies and apply them to enhance our processes.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in IT operations.
Expertise in Finance, with focus on AP and GL processes.
Strong project management skills.
Proficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Power Automate, Alteryx and PowerBI.
Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment and manage multiple project at a time.
Ability to work from our Cracow’s office at least 6 times per month.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or IT.
Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, PMP)
Experience with data visualization tools.
