BioLegend is seeking a Custom Bottling Lead to oversee and execute bottling activities for custom products in accordance with established procedures and work instructions. This role supports the team responsible for managing BioLegend’s custom finished goods and requires the ability to read, understand, and complete all packaging documentation, including batch records and material requests. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced, diverse, and team‑oriented environment and brings strong communication, planning, and organizational skills to ensure smooth and accurate bottling operations.
Essential Functions

- Formulate and dispense antibody and buffer solutions, capping and labeling of vials, tubes or bottles based on product requirements
- Maintain batch record and accurate inventory of products
- Escalate any and all discrepancies and issues to CST management
- Receive and follow the safety and lab operation training
- Request and maintain bottling / packaging material
- Operate labeling equipment and support new label template creation (such as Bartender Software)
- Understand basic mathematical operations such as concentration calculations
- Must have ability to work independently within a team to meet department on time delivery goals
- Prepare bottling batch records for processing, post consumptions, output and update status of items in ERP system and project tracking software
- Participate in leadership discussions on capacity planning and process improvements
- Support and/or spearhead customer complaint investigations, non-conformance filing and investigation, root cause analysis and corrective actions as needed
- Training of bottling technicians on CST specific processes
- Prepare for and schedule for QA inspection
- General computer skills (eg. Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Other projects or responsibilities as may be required
Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience
- High school diploma/GED or some college.
- 6-12 months of relevant experience in pharma or biotech in a filling/bottling/packaging working environment
Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- College‑level science courses or related training
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to perform basic calculations
- Ability to pipette
- Experience with ERP systems
- Basic understanding of inventory management and line clearance
- Experience performing aseptic techniques in a biosafety cabinet
- Experience working under cGMP guidelines

The base salary range for this full-time position is $26.20 - $34.60/hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
